About Vologda CCI
History
Vologda Chamber of Commerce and Industry (VCCI) is a non-governmental and non-profit organization with a voluntary membership, created by the initiative of Russian profit and non-profit organizations and private entrepreneurs in 1992 and accredited by the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Russian Federation in 1997.
Vologda Chamber of Commerce and Industry is an active participant in the economic development of the Vologda region.
Mission
Vologda CCI aspires to be the organization of first choice to enhance business development of CCI members in particular and the prosperity of the business community of Vologda Region in general.
Activities
Vologda CCI represents the interests of commercial entities, industrial enterprises, service industries in their relations with the authorities; provides a wide range of services in the sphere of search of partners for business cooperation in the Russian Federation and abroad; participates, through its apprentice training centre and its training courses, in the training and the professional improvement of business staffs; offers continuously upgraded services for business enhancement, such as:
- expertise and certification services;
- legal protection of the objects of intellectual property;
- bar coding registration and copyright registration for inventions, trademarks, industrial patterns etc.;
- CCI Arbitration Court, providing an efficient and cost-effective arbitration process for resolving business disputes;
- translation and verification of customs documents, invoices, certificates etc.;
- exhibition activities;
- 80-seat conference hall for all kinds of business meetings, seminars, negotiations, equipped with the most modern facilities: Internet access, multimedia projector, screen etc.
Management
The President of the Vologda CCI is Galina Telegina, the member of the Board of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Russian Federation. Activities of Vologda CCI are regulated by the CCI Board, which is elected by the members of Vologda CCI.
